The Essential Training Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People meets the 2019 BACP competence framework for working with children and young people (4-18 years).

The course equips practitioners with the skills, knowledge, and abilities to work as children's and young people's counsellors, providing that the practitioner already holds a formally recognised counselling qualification.
